The Sparrow Housemate Referral Program (“The Program”) allows registered Sparrow users (“Sparrow User”) to earn Amazon* gift cards (“Rewards”) by referring new housemates to Sparrow Living Inc. (“Sparrow”).
To participate, Sparrow Users must agree to these terms, which become part of the Sparrow Terms of Service. Capitalized terms that are not defined here will have the same meaning given to them in the Sparrow Terms of Service.

How to Earn Referral Rewards

Sparrow Users can earn Rewards if: (i) a referred individual clicks on their referral link to create a valid Sparrow account that complies with our Terms of Service; and (ii) the referred individual signs a boarding or rental agreement through Sparrow. Neither the Sparrow User may be the housemate nor the referrer in the signed agreement by the referred individual. Only one Reward is earned per individual referred, regardless of the number of agreements the referred individual enters into.

The referring Sparrow User will be credited with a $50 Amazon gift card as Rewards. The maximum Rewards per Qualifying Referral will be $1,000 CAD*.

Qualifying Referrals

A Qualifying Referral must result in a signed boarding or rental agreement through the Sparrow platform, and the referred individual must move into the property before the Sparrow User can receive the Reward.

The property of the Qualifying Referral must be located within Canada.

Redeeming Sparrow Rewards

Rewards may not be earned by creating multiple Sparrow accounts. Rewards accrued in separate Sparrow accounts may not be combined into one Sparrow account.

If for any reason you believe that there is a discrepancy regarding your Rewards, please contact us. Sparrow may require you to submit additional information in order to determine Rewards payout. All decisions regarding Rewards will be final and at Sparrow’s sole discretion.

The referring Sparrow User is responsible for any Tax consequences, if any, that may result from acquiring or use of Rewards.

Multiple Referrals

A referred individual may only use one referral link. If a referred individual receives referral links from multiple Sparrow Users, only the corresponding Sparrow User of the referral link used by the referred individual will receive Rewards.

Severability

If any provision in these terms is held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void, or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Termination and Changes

Sparrow may suspend or terminate the Referral Program or a user’s ability to participate in the Referral Program at any time for any reason.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts or withhold Rewards if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of the Sparrow Terms of Service. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.

Updates to the Terms

We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the Sparrow website, applications, or services, which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Referral Program after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
